Shaped by Africa. By Geometry.
Two collections. A shared African heritage.
Different stories, united by geometry, craft and a contemporary vision for the spaces we live in.
The story behind the name
A name rooted in place. A weaving principle transformed into form.

Kasai refers to the founder’s region of origin in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is a place of people, craft and cultural knowledge — a region where material, pattern and making are part of everyday life.
Weave refers to natural raffia fibres, traditionally woven into cloth and enriched through embroidery, appliqué and raised surface techniques. These processes create depth, texture and rhythmic geometric patterns.
Lines become rhythm, repetition becomes relief, and woven structure becomes contemporary form.
A related tradition. A different story
A distinct cultural tradition. Geometry shaped by skilled hands.

The Kuba are a distinct people with a rich artistic tradition in the Kasai region. Renowned for their raffia textiles, they developed a sophisticated visual language of geometric motifs, symbolising status, identity and knowledge.
Kuba textiles are made from handwoven raffia, with appliqué and embroidery techniques that create bold, layered surfaces and intricate geometric compositions.
Bold geometry, layered surfaces and rhythmic contrast are translated into contemporary objects for modern interiors.
